We are a source verified market meaning we aim to do a on-site inspection of all farmers who are members of CAFM to insure only Arkansas farmers use our online market, as well as our outdoor markets. (CAFM, Inc. is a non-profit 501©(6) business.)

CAFM, Inc. operates two outdoor markets, in Argenta (North Little Rock), and Searcy as well as our cafm.locallygrown.net online market. The outdoor markets are held May thru Oct. each year. Remember that the CAFM ONLINE Market is open all winter! U-P-D-A-T-E-D WINTER CAFM-Online order pick-up hours begin at 9:30 a.m. and end at 11:30.

REMEMBER TO CHECK BACK FOR NEW ITEMS THAT OUR FARMERS HAVE ADDED DURING THE WEEK.

For the winter season, pickups of online orders are only being done on Saturdays at the Argenta CAFM Market. *The next scheduled pickup will be Saturday, March 20, 2010. Look for us in the summer market lot, or, if the weather so requires, inside the building right next to the usual Market pick-up lot in the 500 block of Main Street. WINTER CAFM-Online order pick-up hours begin at 9:30 a.m. and end at 11:30.

Row cover hoops made from 1/2 in metal pipe measure approx. 54 in. wide x 36 in. tall. Purchase 10 ft. wide plastic at your local home improvement store, hardware store ect or you can use row cover fabric . We use the extensively at Kellogg Valley Farms. Push the ends of the hoops in the ground 4- 5 ft. apart to create a mini greenhouse in you garden , used for getting a jump on the season and extending the season in the fall.We use soil on the sides to secure the plastic or you can use bricks or whatever you have available.You will have to use a minimum of 2 hoops but can run the as long as want til you run out of garden. These are not you garden center tomatoe cages that you tomatoe plants out grow in a month. They are 5 ft tall 54 in in circumference 18in in diameter with 6 in square holes w plenty of room to reachin and harvest tomatoes. Can also be used to grow cucumbers or pole beans or any other climbing type plant.We have found this is the best way to grow tomatoes we even cover them with plastic to gat a jump on the season.
